Championing health, education, and dignity through sustainable menstrual health solutions
Menstrual hygiene management is a critical issue affecting millions of girls and women worldwide, particularly in underserved communities.

High-quality, reusable menstrual pads designed for comfort, sustainability, and long-term use
A non-governmental organisation, Amenuveve Incorporated in the Afadzato South District of the Volta Region has launched...
Our pads are made from eco-friendly, breathable materials that are safe for both the user and the environment. We prioritize natural fibers and sustainable manufacturing processes.
Each pad can be reused for up to 2-3 years with proper care, significantly reducing waste compared to disposable products. This makes them both environmentally and economically sustainable.
Made from breathable, hypoallergenic materials that reduce the risk of irritation and infections. No harmful chemicals or synthetic materials that can cause health issues.
While the initial investment may be higher, reusable pads save money in the long run, eliminating the need for monthly purchases of disposable products.
Washing Instructions Rinse Immediately: As soon as possible after use, rinse the pad under cold water until the water runs clear. Hot water will set blood stains. Soak (Optional): For stubborn stains or convenience, you can pre-soak the rinsed pads in cold water for 2-4 hours, or overnight. Avoid soaking for more than 2-3 days to prevent musty smells. Main Wash: Hand Wash: Gently rub the pads with mild soap, paying attention to any stained areas. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is gone, as this can cause irritation or reduce absorbency. Drying and Storage Air Dry is Best: Line dry your pads on a clothesline. Sunlight is a natural disinfectant and helps bleach any remaining stains. Avoid High Heat: Do not tumble dry, place pads directly on a radiator, or use high heat, as this can damage the waterproof layer and other materials. Store Properly: Once completely dry, store the clean pads in a dry, ventilated area, such as a drawer or an airing cupboard. Important Care Tips Change Regularly: For good hygiene, change your pad every 4-8 hours, or as needed, depending on your flow. Proper Hygiene: Always wash your hands before handling clean pads and after handling used ones.
Learn how to properly use and maintain your reusable menstrual pads for optimal performance and longevity
Like any reusable product, it's always clever to wash them before first use.
Wear the plain side next to your body and the other side against your underwear.
The wings wrap around the gusset of your underwear, and the buttons pop to form a secure seal.
Once your pad is in place, you're good to go. You can wear the pads for the same amount of time as you would for a normal disposable pad, so depending on your flow, you will know how often you need to change.
If you're out and need to change your pad, simply fold the pad inwards and reseal with the buttons, then pop it into your wet-bag to keep them safe.
After you've worn your pad and you're ready to wash it, it's always a good idea to pre-rinse it with natural soap or cold water to help prevent staining. Soak the pads and ring them dry until the water runs clear.
You can hand-wash or machine-wash the pads. Avoid using heavy fabric conditioner - this can affect the absorbency of the material inside the pads.
After they've been in a rinse, stretch each side of the pad in the opposite direction so it can revert back to its original shape.
Air drying is recommended. A top tip is to wrap your pads around a bathroom radiator if you have one, as this is a great way to keep your pads in shape and help them dry quickly.
